Pond Town Christmas Serenade 2026

Instructions

Auditions: Please prepare 1 minute of a song you would like to sing in the show. We will be building our set list from the songs you audition with. We are specifically looking for well-known, upbeat, and non-religious Christmas music. Auditions will be held by video submission only and are due on Wednesday October 28 at 11:59pm. Late submissions will not be accepted. Auditions should be uploaded to YouTube and listed as either 1) a public link, viewable to anyone, or 2) an unlisted video with viewing permissions granted to anyone with the link. The cast list will be announced by Sunday, November 1. Rehearsals: All rehearsals will be held at Mt. Loafer Elementary in the gym on the following dates: Tuesday, November 10, from 6:30-9pm Tuesday, November 17 from 6:30pm-8:30pm Tuesday, December 1 from 6:30pm-8:30pm Tuesday, December 8 from 6:30pm-9pm Monday, December 14 (Tech) from 6pm-10pm- Held at the Salem Community Center at Salem Pond Tuesday, December 15 (Tech), 6pm- Held at the Salem Community Center at Salem Pond Wednesday, December 16 (Performance), 6pm- Held at the Salem Community Center at Salem Pond Thursday, December 17 (Performance), 6pm- Held at the Salem Community Center at Salem Pond Due to the limited number of rehearsals, you are required to be present at all rehearsals and will be expected to rehearse on you own. If cast, you will receive access to a Google Drive folder with sheet music, practice tracks, and performance tracks for your use. Performances: Performance will be held at the Salem City Community Center/Salem Pond on December 16 and 17. Call time for all performers is 6pm. All participants will be responsible for doing their own clothing, hair, and make up for the show (more details will be shared at the first rehearsal). Due to the limited engagement, cast members will not receive comp tickets for the production. Casting Note: We are open to casting all ages for the production. Children 10 and under are required to have a parent/guardian/trusted adult with them at rehearsals. Again, we are SO EXCITED to be doing this production again and look forward to working with you.
